Energy for development

There is a clear coherense between energy use and the standard of living in countries around the world. With the use of energy, it is possible to be tranportet more efficiently, use less work force on different operations, and use less time for making food. An increase in the energy use could possibly increase the standard of living for a lot of people, but at the same time cause environmental problems.Solar cells

The Centre for Renewable Energy (SFFE) has a unique opportunity to contribute to the transfer of environmentally friendly technoloies to developing countries, by the use of existing competence within renewable energy. This can be achieved by cooporating with institutions in development countries, for mutual benefit.
