Topic: Solar cells
The parallel on solar cells intends to gather all the researchers in
Norway that work on solar cell materials and technologies. The goal is
to create a meeting place where the researchers canĀ get to know each
other and discuss and share their research interests. The topics in this
parallel will cover a broad range, from basic and applied research on
silicon and other solar cell materials and technologies, to industry
presentations and solar cell utilization.
The target group for this specific parallel is researchers from
Norwegian universities, research institutions and industry.
- Prof. Bryce Richards, Director - Scottish Institute for Solar Energy Research (SISER), (Professor in Solar Energy Systems)
- Dr. Paul Basore, Director, REC Technology US. He has 25 years experience in photovoltaics R&D, including five years in REC and its associated companies.
An overview of the parallel topics on solar cells:
- Silicon solar cells
- Photovoltaic systems
- Solar cell processing and testing
- New materials
- Silicon feedstock and crystallization
Researchers and PhD candidates are invited to submit abstracts according to the format described in call for abstracts to Martin Bellmann. Based on the submitted abstract, acceptance will be given for poster or oral presentation. The deadline for submission is 1st March 2010.
