Topic: Social studies of renewable energy

To manage the production and use of renewable energy to cater for a broad spectrum of social needs and in a sustainable way, is a great challenge. To cope with this challenge calls for new and innovative strategies and practices related to policy, technology, economy, and everyday life.

Target group
The seminar aim to gather researchers, students and PhD candidates engaged in energy research from a social scientific and humanities perspective. Contributions and participation from outside Norway are very welcome.

Abstract submission
Researchers and PhD candidates are invited to submit abstracts according to the format described in call for abstracts to Tomas Moe Skjølsvold. Based on the submitted abstract, acceptance will be given for poster or oral presentation. A collecion of papers will also be published in the proceedings of the session on social studies of renewable energy. The deadline for submission is 1 March 2010.
